Agnetha Faltskog

Agnetha faltskog, best known for her work as a soloist from Sweden. But, she'll forever be remembered as the one of the original members of ABBA, the world's most popular and commercially successful pop group. After leaving school at 15, Agnetha Faltskog began singing with Bernt Enghardt's group that quickly gained popularity. Enghardt landed her a recording contract and she soon reached the top of the charts in Sweden with her first single. Bjorn became her spouse and she joined ABBA. ABBA would go on to be one of the largest music groups around the globe over the course of eight years. They received numerous awards which included platinum and gold throughout the world. In the years following ABBA, she released three albums -'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman' and 'I Stand Alone'. Each of which garnered great success in Sweden and grew in popularity across Europe too, but they never quite made a mark on the U.S. The '80s wound to a close her career took an official retirement. The music of ABBA was featured as the theme of a jukebox musical called 'Mamma Mia!'. The album, 'My Coloring Book that peaked at eleven on the chart in the UK it was made after she came out of her retirement.
